27 Oct 2020

The inaugural edition of Formnext + PM South China will be held in Shenzhen from 9 – 11 September 2021. With the promising prospects for the development of additive manufacturing in China, especially in the South China region, the new fair is set to be a melting pot for information exchange on various industry issues. The fair will also assist industry players to unlock extensive business opportunities in the fields of advanced materials, and innovative manufacturing technologies and equipment.

Formnext + PM South China is jointly organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd and Uniris Exhibition Shanghai Co Ltd. Held at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center, the fair is anticipated to welcome over 10,000 visitors and host more than 200 exhibitors from around the world across 20,000 sqm of exhibition space. The inaugural fair aims to offer a brand new experience to China’s manufacturing industry, covering an array of advanced technology and equipment under the categories of: materials, powder metallurgy, additive manufacturing, advanced ceramics, design, software and processing technologies.

Earlier this year, the global pandemic accelerated smart manufacturing efforts and ushered in the long-term adoption of innovative automated production solutions. As the circumstances within China continue to improve steadily, Formnext + PM South China will play a crucial role in providing a much-needed platform to boost industry growth and facilitate business exchange. Less than three months after the announcement of the 2021 fair date, exhibitors’ enthusiasm towards the inaugural event was carried forward, as a number of firms promptly confirmed their participation for the upcoming show. Some of the leading suppliers who will present their additive manufacturing materials, products and solutions include CNPC Powder, Evonik Specialty Chemicals, INTAMSYS Intelligent Technology, Prismlab, Shenzhen Sunshine Machinery Equipment, Shining 3D Technology, SLM Solutions and others.

Equally eager to participate in the 2021 fair are a number of renowned powder metallurgy exhibitors who are prepared to showcase their latest products and solutions.
