Formnext + PM South China returns next week to spur cross-industry conversations on manufacturing technologies

This year’s edition of Formnext + PM South China will be held from 29 – 31 August 2023 in Hall 6 of the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center. Serving as a central hub connecting the additive manufacturing, powder metallurgy and advanced ceramics industries, the event will bring together 275 exhibitors across 20,000 sqm of floor space. Notably, the show will debut a range of new fringe events focused on injection moulding, advanced ceramics optimised for smart manufacturing, directed energy deposition, binder jetting, and other cutting-edge innovations.

Ongoing advancements such as these have revolutionised the fields of additive manufacturing, powder metallurgy and technical ceramics, enabling accelerated production schedules, enhanced multi-material support and rapid prototyping capabilities. With their broad versatility, these technologies are seeing increased adoption among a wide variety of industries, such as automotive, railway, heavy machinery, electronic appliances, medical, aerospace and consumer goods. The gallery will present an assortment of innovative designs, demonstrating the various ways in which additive manufacturing technologies can be adopted and the multitude of applications they enable.
